Kolsch poured a semi-hazy, straw yellow color with a thumb width, frothy white head. The aroma is really nice, pale
malt, with some herbs (mint?), and a little faint citrus. The body has light carbonation, a pale malt base that
is thicker up front and then dies out a bit, a quick grassy note that appears and then is gone, and some lime notes.
The finish has a light yeasty dryness and a few lemon notes. Overall, this is a fantastic summer beer. It
is light and refreshing, and so unbelievably easy drinking without comprimising any flavor. It could use just a little
more dryness on the finish to balance out the citrus notes but is still one of my favorites for the hot, sticky weather.
