Zuur poured
a rich brown color with a thumb width, off white head. The aroma is dominated by sour cherries, a little wood, malty
and a few vinegar notes. The body is short, with a malted middle, sour cherries on the outside, and notes of apple
cider vinegar. The finish is short and quick, a blast or tartness. Overall, this is another wonderful sour ale
from Ommegang. It is simple, the sour is restrained, the malt is balanced perfectly and the sour cherries are perfect.
